lol! Among my friends the phrase “Disney2=crap” is pretty commonplace. Disney sequels fail twice over: first, they almost never compare to the original in quality (I can’t think of any sequel I like as well as the original), and second, they are almost always bad stories in and of themselves (that is to say, even if the movie wasn’t a crappy sequel, it’d still be a crappy movie).

Keep in mind that this was all voted. “Top 30 as voted” is an ambiguous poll. I doubt the poll-taker specified between “your favorite” and “the best” (nor could most voters accurately distinguish). For example, “I Won’t Say I’m In Love” is easily one of my favorite, but I absolutely acknowledge that “I Can Go the Distance” is a “better” song in terms of message and score. In Mulan I like “Reflection” and “Make a Man Out of You” almost equally though they’re not equal musically.
@fergiefan30001 Colors of the Wind is definitely one of those amazing Disney songs that is beyond the animated movie itself. I Can Go the Distance from Hercules is another, as is Reflection from Mulan. There are many Disney songs that are amazing for what? they were meant to be: catchy, fun songs in enchanting movies. There are others that go far beyond that–several songs from Pocahontas and Hercules fall into that category, in my opinion.
Nice video. I’m a little surprised/annoyed that you used a few of the non-disney versions (examples: Can You Feel the Love Tonight, When you Wish Upon A Star, Tale as Old as Time, A Whole New World, Reflection). Not that they’re bad versions, just that it’s inconsistent. At least you didn’t use the remake of Kiss the Girl *shudders*
I’m a little curious as to the demographic of your voters. Some of these songs are classic Disney, while others are classic music regardless of the movies.

I personally think that “When you wish upon a star” (the original version from the movie) should’ve been rated #1.

What this is all wrong! Too much mary poppins, and where was nightmare before christmas? Or the Hunchback of Notre Dame? Some of the best music to come out of disney movies and it is nowhere to be found.
